L'esperienza della Comune finì nel 1980, ma ancora oggi la Palazzina Liberty mantiene il suo spirito libertario ed è attualmente sede della Civica Orchestra di Fiati e della Casa della Poesia. Il parco, invece, è dedicato dal 1987 alla memoria di Vittorio Formentano, medico e fondatore dell'Avis (la scultura dei due corpi abbracciati dell'artista ungherese Eva Olàh ritrae infatti due donatori di sangue). Menzione d'onore per il monumento ai Marinai d'Italia caduti in guerra raffigurante la Vittoria alata e per la scenografica fontana che purtroppo è spesso a secco ma che, quando zampilla, è magnifica. Lo amiamo noi, lo amano i runner (secondo una recente indagine è in testa alle preferenze degli sportivi milanesi) e lo amano i nostri cani, che corrono come matti nelle tante aree del parco a loro dedicate. Il parco di Largo Marinai, sempre aperto, è compreso tra via Cadore, via Anfossi, viale Umbria e corso XXII Marzo ed è raggiungibile con il passante ferroviario alla fermata Dateo o con i tram 12, 27 e bus 73.

The Park is dedicated to the memory of the 1987 Vittorio Formentano, physician and founder of the Alamo (sculpture of two bodies embraced Hungarian artist Eva Olàh portrays two blood donors). Honorable mention for the Memorial to fallen Sailors of Italy at war depicting the winged victory and the spectacular fountain which sadly is often dry but that when Welling, is magnificent. We love ourselves, love the runner (according to a recent survey is the sporting preferences of Milan) and love our dogs, they run like crazy in so many areas of the park dedicated to them. The Largo Marinai Park, always open, is between via Cadore, via Anfossi, viale Umbria and corso XXII Marzo and is accessible with the passante ferroviario Dateo station or tram 12, 27 and 73 bus.

Palazzina Liberty, progettata nel 1908 dall’architetto Migliorini, è l’unica struttura che rievoca l’antico verziere e che fu sede dal 1974 al 1980 del 'Collettivo teatrale la Comune' di Dario Fo; è stata restaurata nel 1992.
