Chiaki AMIYA was born in Kagoshima (Japan).
Raised in a family environment, art lover, was initiated at the age of 7, to Japanese and Western artistic culture: tea ceremony, Ikebana (floral art), Japanese calligraphy, classical dance and painting.
After a general and pedagogical training at Aoyama Gakuin University, Chiaki turned to an artistic training and more specifically to sculpture.
