Ze hadden het oude ziekenhuis een eigen smoel, een identiteit en herkenbaarheid gegeven. Nu het gebouw is verdwenen, moet de kunst op een nieuwe plek aarden. Neem Vlam. Jarenlang stond het monumentale abstracte plastiek in de tuin van het Andreasziekenhuis. Bezoekers konden het beeld van kunstenares Edith ten Kate maar moeilijk missen. Het is nu te vinden aan de kop van het Lucas-Andreasziekenhuis, aan de kop van de E-vleugel aan de Jan Tooropstraat.
