Het Kinderdagverblijf Oehoeboeroe aan de Cruquiusweg doet denken aan een oosters sprookjes kasteel van de Efteling. Oosters aandoende torenspitsen gemaakt van buigzame koperen buizen steken uit een grote kunststof blauwe wolk die aan de gevel van het pand gevestigd is.

Het gevelbeeld doet denken aan een sprookjesdecor. Het lijkt of een enorme wolk een oosters paleis aan het oog onttrekt, alleen de torenspitsen zijn nog zichtbaar.
Het gebouw was vroeger een havendouanekantoor en werd door architect Sjoerd Soeters verbouwd tot kinderdagverblijf. Door de verbouwing werd de oorspronkelijke voorkant van het gebouw de achterzijde. Aan de straatkant ontstond een nieuwe voorkant. Om deze gevel met zijn betonnen wand geschikt te maken als voorgevel kreeg Berend Strik de opdracht voor het maken van een beeld. Omdat Strik het verstoppen van de grijze wand een schijnoplossing vond, kon een toevoeging volgens hem alleen gerechtvaardigd worden als het bedekken van de gevel sterk overdreven zou worden. Het moest volgens hem écht nep worden.
De kunstenaar is niet gelukkig met het resultaat: 'Het ontwerp werd goedgekeurd, alhoewel ik door budgettekort alle onderdelen moest verkleinen. Zoals het beeld zich nu presenteert ben ik heel ontevreden over de wolk als decor. Was het nog de wolk of was het een blauwe uitgeperste sinaasappel ? Bovendien bleken de kleuren van de kozijnen, de belichting en het hekwerk niet ten goede te komen aan het kunstwerk. Vooral het gebouw moet het ontgelden omdat het louter de drager van een plaatje is geworden. De ingreep is mislukt omdat de wolk niet een geheel wordt met het gebouw maar er voor hangt als een slap decor. (…) Mijn voorstel is de blauwe wand te slopen en de vrij komende muur te stuken met grijze cement. De geest van ‘Katsenarie alsnog bevrijd van de geur van de natte oude hond.'
