Deborah Butterfield has made a series of sculptures depicting horses. She herself is an accomplished equestrian, and her art shows horses not in realistic form, but more like impressions of horses.
She uses wide variety of materials, including wood, scrap metal and old pipes and usually these are cast in bronze.
