At the Mary Bartelme Park patrons are greeted by a five stainless steel fountain gates at the northwest entry to the park.
This fountain uses only three gallons of water a minute while each of the gates emit a fine mist of vaporized water on hot Chicago days. The mist cools off kids, moms and dads, and pet while immersing the area in a cloud. As Chicago braces for cold winter days the water been turned off until spring.
