The Flying Frenchman is a sculpture created by French sculptor César Baldaccini. The monument is located at Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. It was donated by the Cartier Foundation to Hong Kong in April 1992.

'The Flying Frenchmen' bronze sculpture by César Baldaccini was originally entitled as 'The Freedom Fighter', but was renamed by the Hong Kong Urban Council to avoid political controversy. The sculpture completed in 1990 and opened in April 1992. It weight 6 tons, 4.8 meters high, 8.4 meters long. In 1991, Fondation Cartier donated César’s monumental sculpture, The Flying Frenchman, to the city of Hong Kong. César Baldaccini (1 January 1921 in Marseille – 6 December 1998 in Paris) was a noted French sculptor.
