The monument depicts the known Fox and the Crow Krylov's fable, which sit happily on penёchke, embracing and holding the same processed cheese"Friendship". All the hostility and greed have evaporated, cheese"Friendship" - brings.
In 2004 the factory processed cheese"Karat" in connection with the 40th anniversary of the release syrka"Friendship" (the most famous variety of melted cheese in Soviet times), announced a competition to design the monument curds.
Have been submitted 150 projects, the project won the professor, Doctor of Economics Alexei Semenov and artist Marina Leskov, sculptors, embodied in the life of the project, Salavat A. Shcherbakov Sergey Shcherbakov and Salavatovich Malokostov Vyacheslav Vladislavovich.
Here is what Alexei Semenov about the project:"At a felled tree stump, the one eating, " the tree of evil", sitting, embracing, Crow and the Fox. Before them cheese"Friendship". It is obvious that without cheese"Friendship" for them a happy life is no longer possible."
The monument was opened on October 1, 2005 during the Second Moscow Festival of cheese.
