Am Ausgang des U-Bahnhofs Richard-Wagner-Platz der Linie U7 gibt es reich verzierte Mosaike, welche die berühmtesten Minnesänger darstellen. Das sogenannte Minnesängermosaik kann aber auch selbst eine aufregende Geschichte erzählen.
1973 begann man mit dem Bau des neuen Bahnhofs am Richard-Wagner-Platz der Linie U7 in Charlottenburg. Der seit 1903 an selber Stelle befindliche Kleinprofilbahnhof wich dem moderneren Bauvorhaben. Abgeschlossen wurden die Bauarbeiten 1978. Seitdem können Besucher hier auch das Minnesängermosaik bewundern, welches ganz alleine etwas Musikflair aufkommen lässt.
