Lack of art, many figurative artworks

I’m sorry to say that I’m disappointed about the art in public space which I’ve found in New Delhi: only 33 artworks are found in this metropolis. Many artworks are figurative (they represent human figures as they are) without many creative input.

Filosofical issues

A great number of the artwork reflect on religious issues and are goddess-figures. Does this mean that a great number of the citizens of New Delhi is religious?

Contemporary art

The good news is the presence (21%, in general 20%) of contemporary art by strong artists and by using special materials.
